Sex, drugs
and rock n roll was the seventies outlook on relationships and intimacy. The
eighties were more about being scared of sex due to the first knowledge of AIDS
but that did not stop all the “causal” sex from happening. Youth began to
become obsessed with celebrities and seeing them as more sex and relationship
role model’s then their parents in the nineties. Now it’s 2012 what has
changed? Vampires are lovable, sex is loveless, cheating is normal, and
loveless marriages are the norm. Is this a change; no. This was happening for
as long as anyone can remember or read about. It is just more accepted in
today’s society then before. Media has allowed for the world to see what all
those years ago was only talked about behind closed doors. Well except the vampires
being loveable. Dracula was one scary vampire then and now! Movies and
television shows like True Blood, Twilight and one of the most ever talked
about shows Sex in the City have shown the world the sexier side of sex and
relationships. The show 16 and Pregnant has showed the world that there are
teens having babies every day. We just don’t send them off to some school and
tell our friends they are visiting family like forty years ago. Is the world better now than in the past?
Some would say by far we have come a long way with prevention, education, and
rights where sex and relationships are concerned. Others would view this as a
downward spiral to our society. Then there are the ones that just dream of
there one true love whether it be a millionaire, vampire, or shape shifter to
show up and sweep them off their feet.

freedom of speech
Good morning all...I know I have been slacking on my blog. I just could not get inspired about anything to write. Well then I read a friends blog this morning and it got my blood pressure going. So I going to rant and rave today about freedom of speech or the lack of it anymore.
Facebook to me pushes the rights of freedom of speech. You post what you want, about who you want, and pictures of anything. Then you get these noisy busy bodies that have to get on there and go off about what you put. I am not going into details because it was not my page this happen to, but if someone puts something they think is neat or they believe in up what right does someone have to be mad about that. What right do they have to get mad for what is up on facebook, blog, or twitter. Especially when it is not about them or anybody personal to them.
It is beyond me why everyone makes a big deal on someones thoughts. They are not asking you to believe the way they are. They are not perching to you to follow there path. They are just stating how they feel at the time. I post a lot of different things. Books, my thoughts, coupons, and many more things. I am not asking for you to think my way it is just what is on my mind at that time.
Some post are just to inform and yet people get mad about this to. If everyone posted the exact same thoughts, same beliefs, same memories, and the same followings would that not be taking us back to Hitler's way of thinking. You must think like me or you are wrong and should be punished! Ya right I so would of been the first killed back then with the mouth on me!
I want my kids to live and grow up in a society that is free to say and be who they are. I want them to tell people how they feel and how they see things. I want them to feel like they can express themselves anyway they want without being reprimanded for this.. I know it is just a pipe dream but its mine!!!

Quick note to say hi
Hello everyone ... I do not know about you guys but this is only Tuesday and I have already ran my butt off. Yesterday I drove eleven hours to get my birth certificate for my new job. Then today had to go fill out paper work for the new job and get fitted for my uniforms. It feels like I have not stopped in days. Bright side tomorrow I get my school books for this semester and my husband and dad set me up a really nice work station. Has desk shelves and filling cabinet for all my needs. Now to get kids ready to go back to school next week. I think I have bought everything they need just have to find time to get it all together now. I love school!!! I hope at the very least one of my kids gets that from me. Well I know this one is short this week but I got some research to do for my book ( I am tempting the book idea my cousin said I would be good at) and I have laundry yelling at me to be clean. I think next blog will be over how I research so I can get other point of views on how do be more efficient with it. Till next time ......

Momma's Coupons
Good morning everyone! It is Sunday here and that means coupons in in the Noel household. So I thought I would give some couponing tips for everyone today. Just yesterday a friend of mine was asking for help with coupons , so I hope this helps. I am going to explain as I do them, but know that everyone has there own way and what works for them. So try this way and then change it to fit your needs and wants.
First this is the perfect time of year to start couponing. School supplies are out and its a great time to pick up a binder to keep your coupons in. Second item you need are baseball card sleeves to hold your coupons in. Guess what your all set. You organize them the way that will help you move through the store better. Mine are split in these tabs: Fridge, dry stock, cereal, meat, freezer, bake goods, condiments, drinks, bathroom, cleaning. Though this may not be your tabs it is easier to break up the items to find them faster in the store.
Second where to get coupons. Sunday papers is where i started but then I found that most of the time they was missing out of papers. Here I was two dollars out and no coupons to show for it. Now I buy my inserts at www.wholecouponinserts.com . Now the best way on this site is to go to the combine sections. You can go with four, six or more of each ones. I get the four or six because most place will not let you use more then five of the same coupon per trip. Another great place is eBay BUT BEWARE do not pay more then a third of what you will save. I have seen coupons go on there for more then what you would save with them to me this is silly and wasteful. You can also sign up to Kroger online and they send some great coupons out at times. I do not print coupons off internet but that is another place you can get coupons . Many sites offer coupons to print at home. Stay away from the free item coupons most of these are fraud!
Third and the best part TIME TO SHOP!!! So you got your binder you have checked the ads you think your ready but one more thing needs to be done. Check with each store you go into and find what there coupon policy is. Most will double up to a certain amount. Here in my area our Kroger doubles up to sixty cents everyday but you are only allowed to use five of the same coupons. Walmarts do not double but if you have a dollar off coupon usually the item is cheaper at Walmart so use it there. Here is where I can not express enough this point if you save five percent be proud any dollar saved is a dollar to spend somewhere else for you family. DO NOT get discourage. I still today only average a thirty to fifty percent savings and to me that's great!
Now a little note about other coupons out there. Why stop with just household items. I look and get coupons for clothing stores, restaurants, and anywhere I shop. This is a big deal right now with back to school shopping. An example is Logan's five dollars off or buy one get one free is just that much more you can spend somewhere else. Keep this in mind while you are coupon looking.
Many people ask what I save and what my stock pile consist of. I have a fifteen thousand dollar stock pile that I have spent about five thousand on. This has been over a year period. It will not happen over night but it can happen. My mom loves this for when she is here she sometimes grabs toothpaste or hot sauce or something. I love that i can help her out even that little bit. I have lost a lot of my stock pile recently and gave away some to help people in need. To me this is just part of it to help others and help your family at same time what more could anyone ask for.
I only touched based on most the subjects of couponing feel free to ask me anything to help get your coupon saving started. I love helping others and I love being in a store and someone will walk up to me and ask how i do this. I meet one of the nicest ladies ever in a grocery store line. She seen me using coupons and tracked me down on facebook. I went to her church and taught a class on couponing for her and her friends. After that we still talk online and she is the sweetest lady ever. You never know who you will meet or help that is the other fun in couponing.

friday in a momma's world
Well it Friday here in the home of superman. I am writing early today because on the weekends I hope to do something fun with the family. The drive -in has Brave thinking about going there but who knows :) What are your weekend plans? I have to plan it is just not normal if i do not have at least three days planned ahead. I plan out my day before bed each night and then I try to stay as close to it as I can but as a momma its hard to keep up with those plans. Kids have a way to make changes in a day at a drop of a hat.
Tomorrow my second son comes home he has been at his dads since June. I am so excited to get him back, the summer is nice to have a break but with in a week or two I am ready for him to come home. He is one of my ADHD children. He has out grown some of the effects of this but has started a lot of new effects. Even in his worst moods though he is always my baby. He has a smile that can just make a bad day turn great. He thinks way outside the box that sometimes I can not keep up. He loves with every ounce in his body and wears it right on his sleeve.
Friday also means my daughter is headed to her dads. She is my other ADHD child though i feel they have that wrong. She is my baby brat in every way there is to be a brat. Though my love for her is more then one momma can ever feel she is going to test that love more times then any of my other kids. Maybe it is being a girl or maybe its being the baby of the family?? She loves everything and everyone. She can ask so many questions in a hour that you are to the point of saying ok break time. Momma needs to rest her brain:) She is boy crazy ( Lord help me when she becomes a teen), weekly she has a new boyfriend thank goodness at this age its just words. Then when I look into her eyes I see the most bright, loving, and soft hearted child in the world. I waited so many years to get a girl and she was the most wonderful blessing ever.
Friday also means that my oldest child has left for his last summer vacation with some family friends. He is off to Tennessee, lucky butt!!! He just turned sixteen. If as a parent you have not worried a day in your life yet ( which i would find amazing cause i worried from day one) but if you have not then the day you hand them the keys it is panic time. He is a great son, he is hard working, caring, athletic, and loving. Though he does have that teenage mouth going and trying to find his place in the world you still get to see the great kid he has became and the wonderful man he will become.
Nothing special on Friday for my third son he just gets to spend it with momma and dad ( step dad ). He is my Mr. Magoo, when he was born he looked like an old man and well the nick name stuck. He is my miracle baby!! He was born with water on the brain, his lungs was under developed, and he just could not seem to stay healthy. They told me he would never walk, talk, or play like other kids. Let me tell you he can out run most kids, out talks all of us, and plays till he wears everyone out. He is a dare devil at heart and will probably be the grown man keeping his insurance in business and his wife on nerve pills. If it is scary, dangerous or what a momma would call a better not do that he is in neck deep trying it out. He is extremely smart but choices to not apply it. Drives his teachers nuts. Drives me nuts, I just hope he out grows it and finds his mark on the world. Maybe have to change his nickname to Dr. Magoo.
I have been a momma since i was sixteen. It is all I have known to do and all I could imagine ever doing. I make all my plans with all four of my babies in mind always. You never know when one will drop the hat and change that plan but is that not the fun in being a parent that never two days are the same. Some are good some are bad and some just leave that mark on your heart that you are doing this parenting thing right and that your children will grow up to be a happy healthy adult. Is that not every parents wish......

MY FIRST BLOG..Outlets
So I'm new to blogging but as my major has changed to writing and research this will give me a great practice to the writing field. Well sorta!!! So here are my thoughts today....
I am a daily reader. I love romance, paranormal, historical, and some modern day books. I am currently reading Jeaninie Frost book Eternal Kiss of Darkness. I am in love with these books. I just started this one but Cat and Bones are just wonderful ( they are from the earlier books). The world she has created just comes alive in your mind. Reading is a vacation for me a great book comfy chair and I just disappear from all the grown up worries of the day. What bills to pay , what the kids are breaking or destroying today , the dog chewed up something else, husband needs this or misplaced that, and the most important just being an adult. In a book you become part of their world their worries and none seem as bad as the ones you are facing that day. Then you come across a book that has you in tears and you are reading, crying, and laughing at you self all in one then you know you have a keeper. Many of my keeper books I have read so many times I have had to replace them ....no more replacing My husband got myself an e reader :). Do you have those books that you just can not put down, can not stop returning to, or can not stop talking about?
Some of my other favorite authors are Melissa Mayhue, Pamela Palmer, Janet Chapman, Charlaine Harris, Karen Marie Moning, and Lydia Dare. Just to name a few. As soon as one of there books comes out it is in my hands and I am lost in there wonderful worlds they have created. I read over thirty authors but only listed a few off the top of my head. It is always the first three first, by far they are my favorite if you have never read a book by them i would recommend all of them. I could not pick just one of there books to get you going except to say I like to read from the beginning. I recently picked up Katie MacAlister book Love in the Time of Dragons. I did not realize at the time it was a branch of a book to two other series. So i spent the next week reading them all. Let me tell you she can make a dragon look sexy even if all along you thought he was the bad guy. Yummy!!! It was a great find and I am wanting to start reading her other books soon. Pamela Palmer I just happen to be in grocery store looked over at book rack and this sexy guy was on the cover, I picked it up and lucky I was it was the first in the series. Let me tell you it was a lucky find for me that day. Melissa Mayhue I had just finish Twilight series ( my first ever reads) and I wanted to keep reading so I picked her out on books a million and fell in love right in the first chapter. Janet Chapman was my next find she happen pretty much same way as Mayhue looking in books a million and boom her cover was so pretty I had to click on it. Many books are recommended to me that i read but the ones i search and find on my own usually surprise me in the best ways.
I feel as a mother you need an outlet. Whether it's reading, crafts, friends, etc. You need a place to escape and have momma time. Even if just an hour a day it helps you come back and be a great momma. I am a mom of four of the best kids in the world. Two of my kids have ADHD which is like have twins in one at times. So there is the reason I read daily to have that momma time to myself. I also shop. I love to shop!!! Coupons is my second outlet. I will do a post later on about couponing for anyone interested.
What are your outlets? Do you see yourself as a reader or a maker or something else? Well these are my momma thoughts today who knows what I will come up with next ....stay tuned :)
